Reflux can result in sleep disturbances by causing arousals every time a reflux episode occurs. Get a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea as an underlying cause of your persistent reflux, and possibly even a simultaneous acid pH testing with the sleep testing. At home, avoid eating at least 3 hours before laying down, and have the head of your bed elevated. Drinking enough alcohol will also cause reflux.”
